I'm Dana — a UI developer with agency ecommerce experience and self-taught design skills. I can take a project from Figma or Sketch all the way through to a built, responsive interface.
About me
I spent years as a UI developer at a digital agency, building interfaces for ecommerce clients — product pages, checkout flows, landing pages, and everything in between. Working across HTML, JavaScript, TypeScript, Angular, and React, I've implemented enough designs to know what works in the browser, what developers actually need, and where design decisions create problems down the line.
Along the way I taught myself Figma and Sketch, so I can now handle both sides. I'm stepping into freelance for the first time — offering UI development in React, Next.js, or Angular, design-to-code work, and redesigns for clients who want one person who understands the full picture.
What I do
My core skill. I build clean, performant UIs in React, Next.js, or Angular — fully typed with TypeScript where needed. Whether it's a component library, a new feature, or a full page build from a Figma file, I ship code that holds up.
Got a page that's not converting, or a legacy codebase that's become painful to work with? I'll review what's not working, redesign it, and rebuild it in your existing stack — no handoff required.
Self-taught in Figma and Sketch, I can take a concept from wireframe to high-fidelity mockup — then build it myself. Useful when you need design and development handled by one person without the back-and-forth.
